Abstract
This presentation focuses on discussing the relationship between PMMA POF and FTTH. It introduces POF characteristics and application in broadband Internet and home networking. It describes the current situation of POF industry in China, and the importance of manufacturing 650nm optical modules and related network equipments. The last part of this presentation is a intraduction of an example of POF network.

Works as chief technical engineer in POF application/solution in Shenzhen Dasheng Opto-electronic Technology Co., Ltd.

From 2006, mainly focus on POF application in tele-communication / computer network study and research, esspecially on POF application and development in local network and intranet, and in depth research on entire fibre network solution based on the combination of POF and silica fiber, has good understanding and expertise on solving the “last mile” problem and application on POF.<back>
